Whether you arrived through a recommendation, a search, or what I like to call a divine appointment, I believe you're here on purpose. This space is where faith meets function, creativity is celebrated as a divine gift, and purpose is pursued with passion.

I'm Ava Hill Ames, and at the heart of everything I do is a simple truth: I’m a child of God. That identity is the foundation of who I am and what I offer. It hasn't always been easy to embrace that. Like many of us, I’ve navigated seasons filled with uncertainty, insecurity, and the search for purpose. But over time (and with lots of grace) I’ve grown into a deeper understanding of who God is, and who I am because of Him. I’m still growing, and I always will be.

Beyond that, I wear many hats. I'm a wife to the most amazing husband, a true testament that God answers prayers in ways that exceed what we could ask or imagine. I'm a bonus mom to a bright, beautiful teenager who constantly keeps me learning and leaning on grace.

I'm also a daughter, sister, and friend, surrounded by a village that has helped shape the woman I am today.

Through these roles and relationships, I've discovered the power of encouragement. Over time, I began to see how God was using me to coach, uplift, and speak life into others. Now, I know it's part of my purpose to help people see themselves authentically and walk confidently in the calling God has placed on their lives.

That passion led me to launch AHA Creative Company, where we craft creative solutions inspired by Christ. We view every project as a collaborative masterpiece, turning visions and dreams into reality with excellence and creativity.

And here’s what ties it all together: I believe every woman was created to Seek God wholeheartedly, Find her God-given identity, and Thrive in her purpose. That’s the heartbeat of my life and the foundation of this community. Everything I create, teach, and offer is built around helping you walk confidently through those three transformative steps.

I'm also a licensed minister with a deep desire to help believers engage with Scripture, not just on Sundays, but every day. That desire birthed my YouTube channel, By the Book with Ava, a space designed to help you learn the Word and live the Word and do it all, by the Book. There, I break down how to study Scripture, explore identity and purpose from a biblical lens, and give you the tools you need to live a Word-filled life.
